I think it’s smart to check their schedule online ahead of time, because some classes fill up quickly. You don't want to show up and miss out, trust me.

If you’re looking to save some bucks, ask about introductory deals! I got a 10-class pass that worked out much cheaper than one-off sessions. Definitely worth it!

I suggest wearing comfortable clothes for class; you might want to grab a gi if you plan to roll! They do have rentals, but it’s better to bring your own if you can.

If you want the best views, try to grab a seat on the upper deck around 4 PM. The sunset over the skyline is breathtaking and totally worth it.

I suggest bringing snacks and drinks - the prices on board can be kinda high. We got a little hungry during the trip and regretted not packing a picnic!

Susan November 18, 2024

My advice is to book your tickets online in advance. I waited too long and ended up paying a bit more at the dock. Save yourself that extra cash!

I really recommend checking the weather before you go. We had amazing views, but the wind was super strong and it made it a bit hard to enjoy. Look for calm days if you can!

I recommend checking their class schedule online before you go. I wasted time arriving only to find the class I wanted was canceled. Make sure to confirm if they're running any special events too!

Tyler April 17, 2025

i think you should ask about trial classes or packages for new members. i saved a bit of money by getting a trial week instead of paying for a full month right away!

Suggest bringing a water bottle, especially if you're planning on doing a lot of training. I forgot mine and it was a long session without a drink. Trust me, it's a must!

Don't be shy to ask questions or for help during class; everyone there is super friendly and willing to share tips. I held back at first and missed out on some good advice!

user avatar
Jack March 18, 2025

Bring a water bottle and snacks—classes can be intense, and you'll want to stay fueled up. I made the mistake of skipping snacks, and I regretted it halfway through the session.

Elijah January 15, 2025

If you're a beginner, try to arrive around 10:30 AM for the noon class; it's less crowded and you'll get more personal attention. Trust me, it's worth it!

My advice is to wear comfortable clothes. You might feel a bit chilled up in the air, so layers are a good idea. It was super refreshing after the heat down below!

I think you should look for combo deals with other attractions in the area. I ended up saving by getting a discount on the helicopter ride when I booked a tour of the falls plus some other local sites

My advice is to try to catch a class on a Saturday morning around 10 AM. That’s when they have a great energy and you can learn a lot from the more advanced students

user avatar
Jennifer December 22, 2024

I suggest wearing comfy clothes and bringing your own water bottle. The dojo can get super warm, and you’ll want to stay hydrated during the classes. Plus, they don't always have extra cups available.

user avatar
James October 19, 2024

I think there are some good deals on classes if you buy a package. Check for promos on their website or ask when you get there. It can really save you some cash in the long run.

Check the weather before you go! We were caught in a sudden rainstorm which cut our day short. I think it’s better to have a backup plan in case the weather doesn’t cooperate.

I suggest checking if they have any promotions or family packages when you sign up. I found I saved a little cash on my second visit by asking about returning customer discounts!
