Burnside Skatepark

I suggest checking out the park on a weekday, like Tuesday around 4 PM. It was way less crowded, and I had way more space to practice my tricks.

You might want to grab some snacks before coming. There's not a whole lot around, and a lot of visitors said they ended up super hungry after skating for hours.

My advice is to chat with the locals. They’re super friendly and shared some awesome tips on the best spots in the park, plus some secret tricks to master.
Sand Master Sandboarding - Park & Store

I suggest checking out their social media for any discounts or deals before you go. I found a coupon right before my visit that saved me a bit on the entrance fee!
Newberg Skate Park

My advice is to bring some snacks and drinks. There's not a lot of food options nearby, and you can easily save money by packing your own instead of grabbing fast food.

I think wearing protective gear is a must, even if you’re just starting out. I didn't at first, and trust me, taking a tumble on that concrete was no fun. Staying safe is a priority!

i suggest visiting in the morning, around 9 am, to avoid the crowd and really get a good feel for the park. it was less busy when i went, and i had more space to practice my tricks.
Lincoln Park Forrest Grove

I recommend hitting the skatepark right when it opens at 9 AM. It got super crowded by noon, and I barely got any runs in after that. Plus, you avoid the heat if it's a sunny day

Bring some snacks and drinks if you're planning to stay a while! The nearest food options are a bit of a walk, and I ended up spending way too much on a burger later.
Tigard Skatepark

My advice is to bring your own water and snacks! There aren’t many options nearby, so you won’t waste time hunting for food.
Tanner Creek Skate Park

Check the weather and bring sunscreen! I didn’t realize how hot it would get, and I ended up frying after a few hours. A little shade can make a huge difference

if you're bringing your own gear, pack some snacks and drinks. there’s not a lot nearby, and i spent too much time looking for a decent coffee break.
Kirtsis Skatepark

I recommend visiting in the morning, around 9 AM. It’s way less crowded and you can get a good spot to practice your tricks without bumping into others.

I suggest bringing your own water and snacks. The concession stand is a little pricey, and it can get hot, so staying hydrated without breaking the bank is a win
Klamath Falls Skatepark

I suggest visiting in the late afternoon, like around 4 PM, when the crowds thin out a bit. It’s way more chill and you can actually use the ramps without waiting ages.

My advice is to bring a portable speaker for music. It really amps up the vibe and makes it more fun to skate with friends.
