Bridgestone Arena
Grab a seat in the lower level if you can! The views are amazing for basketball or hockey. I sat in the upper deck once and, honestly, it wasn't as fun. The energy is way better closer to the action.
For a unique experience, try to sit in the end zones. During the hockey game, I caught some thrilling goals up close that I wouldn't have seen in a regular seat! Definitely worth it!
If you're looking to save some bucks, check if your event has special promos or discounted tickets closer to the date. I found a deal online and saved a good amount, which was a win!
I suggest checking out the food options inside before the game. There are some great local eats, but I spent way too much time in line and missed some of the action warming up!
Mickey's Tavern
I suggest checking out their dart boards first to make sure you’re not waiting for a long time. Some nights, they can be extremely popular – it’s better to see if you can get a game in before ordering a drink!
FedEx Forum
I think it’s a good idea to explore the area around FedEx Forum before or after the event. There are some great photo ops and local spots to check out.
I suggest checking the events schedule before you go; there might be a concert or event that’s a lot of fun! It can make your visit way more exciting.
The Villager Tavern
Thompson–Boling Arena
parking can be tricky and pricey near the arena, so i suggest looking for free parking spots a few blocks away. a little walk won't hurt and it'll save you some cash!
Get to your seat early to soak in the atmosphere. I showed up just 30 minutes before the game and missed out on some fun pre-game activities. Aim for at least an hour before tip-off.
Don’t skip the local food vendors outside the arena. I tried some awesome bites that were way cheaper than the concession stands inside and tastier too!
Memorial Gymnasium
I think parking can be a hassle, so if you can, use rideshare apps - it saved me time and stress figuring out where to park
My advice is to check online for special promotions or discounts on game tickets. I found a deal that saved me a good chunk of change!
I suggest getting to the game at least 30 minutes early to grab the best snacks - the popcorn is a must-try! Also, the lines can get really long closer to tip-off.
