Museums in Texas:
Space Center Houston
If you're planning to see the 3D movie, make sure to catch it first thing around 10 AM. The lines for that can get crazy later in the day!
Houston Museum of Natural Science
Perot Museum of Nature and Science
For a fun and educational experience, I suggest checking out the live demos. They were super engaging and made my day a lot more interesting.
Dallas Museum Of Art
I suggest visiting on a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon when it’s usually less crowded. I went on a weekend and it was packed! Totally worth the extra quiet time to appreciate the art.
The Museum of Fine Arts
Check the museum’s website for any special events or free admission days. I found out they had a free Thursday evening, which was a fantastic bonus!
If you're into photography, snag a shot in the gorgeous reflecting pool. I wish I had captured more of the beautiful scenery while I was there!
The Sixth Floor Museum
I recommend booking your tickets online in advance. It saves you time waiting in line and often you can get a discount too!
Children’s Museum of Houston
Bob Bullock Museum of Texas State History
Thinkery
Lone Star Flight Museum
Check out the schedule for flight demonstrations before you go; I missed one because I didn't plan ahead, and it looked incredible!
I suggest buying your tickets online to skip the ticket line and save some time once you get there. Trust me, it makes a big difference
