Killington Ski Resort

If it snows, hit the slopes early next day. Fresh powder makes for an awesome experience, and you won't have to deal with the crowds on the first few runs

Check out the happy hour deals at some of the local pubs. We found some great food and drink discounts after 3 PM which helped keep our budget in check while enjoying the après-ski vibe!

Take advantage of the ‘self-serve’ lift ticket kiosks. They’re super easy to use and can save you from waiting in long lines at the ticket counters, especially around peak times.
Stowe Mountain Resort

If you're worried about costs, grab your lift tickets online a few days in advance; I saved about 20% that way compared to buying at the window.

Download the Stowe app before going; it has live updates on lift lines and trail conditions which saved me a ton of time figuring out where to go first.
Take some time to explore Stowe Village after your slopes session; it's charming and a nice change of pace, plus you can find unique shops and good eats without the crowds.

Don’t underestimate the beginner areas; my friend thought they’d be boring, but they actually have some pretty fun runs for practice before hitting the more advanced stuff
Killington Golf Course

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The on-site refreshments were a bit pricey, and having my own stuff made the day more enjoyable without breaking the bank.

I suggest booking your tee time online a few days in advance. It saved me a lot of waiting time and I snagged a discount too. Plus, you can choose the best available slots
Kayak King

I think you should wear quick-dry clothes. I was soaked from splashes and it took a while to dry making the rest of my day less enjoyable!

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The food options nearby can get pricey, and it’s nice to save some cash for more fun stuff!

I suggest getting there by like 9 AM. The place gets crowded later, and you'll want the best pick of kayaks and a quieter river experience.
