You’ll want to bring sunscreen, even if it looks cloudy. I got burned pretty badly just from being outside, and it totally ruined the rest of my day!

If you're planning to hit the trails, go early around 8 AM. The park gets crowded fast, and I had way more fun with fewer people around!

I recommend packing snacks and drinks. The concession prices were a bit steep and there’s hardly any good places nearby to grab cheep food.

Don't forget sunscreen, even if it looks cloudy; I made that mistake and left with a nasty burn. Bring a cap or hat too, trust me!
