El Avila National Park
My advice is to bring plenty of water and snacks. There are spots to buy food, but they can be pricey and might run out during busy hours.
Salto Angel
Make sure to wear good water-resistant shoes. I went in flip-flops and regretted every slippery step. Trust me you'll want something with grip!
Consider taking a guided tour. I thought I could do it alone, but having someone knowledgeable made my experience way richer. Plus, you get the inside scoop on the best spots!
If you're planning to do BASE jumping, double-check the weather beforehand. I missed out because the wind conditions were off. Do your research on guides who specialize in this!
East Park
Check out the petting zoo area if you can! It’s super cute but be aware it can get a bit crowded. I had to wait a while to get a pic with the goats!
Make sure to wear comfy shoes because there's quite a bit of walking involved. I wasn't prepared, and my feet were begging for mercy by the end of the day!
Expanzoo
Los Caobos Park
If you’re planning to grab a bite I suggest bringing some snacks with you. Food inside the park can be a bit pricey and not all options are great.
Check out the botanical garden, it's a hidden gem! I almost missed it, but it turned out to be my favorite part of the park. Make sure to take some photos there!
