Don’t just stick to the cave tour; take some time to explore the surrounding area. There are a few cool hiking trails nearby with breathtaking views!

Definitely rent a bike to get to Phong Nha Cave. It’s a super nice ride through the countryside and saves you on taxi costs. Plus, the scenery is stunning!

I suggest checking the weather ahead of time. If it looks like rain, consider bringing a poncho because it can get pretty muddy around the cave entrance.

Bring your own snacks and water. The prices inside the park for food can be a bit steep, and you’ll want to keep your energy up for exploring!

I suggest downloading a good offline map before you go hiking... I got lost a couple of times because the signal was spotty, and having a map would've saved me some time

If you're keen on boating, I recommend visiting the lake around 3 PM. That's when the light is perfect for photos, and it's less crowded compared to the mornings.
