Defintely consider booking online ahead of time. I got a last-minute deal, but I heard others say they paid a lot more at the venue. Seriously, it saved me some cash and a lot of hassle
I think it's best to wear old sneakers or water shoes. I wore flip-flops and they ended up floating away like they're on vacation! A little extra grip helps a ton on the rocks.
I recomend getting there around 9 AM. It wasn’t too crowded, and we had the river mostly to ourselves, which made it way more fun and personal. Plus, you avoid the midday heat!
