My advice is to bring a picnic for lunch. There are some lovely spots to sit outside and it saves you from paying the inflated prices at the castle.

I recommend visiting early in the morning around 9 AM. It can get really crowded later, and you'll get some great photos without too many tourists in the frame.

Make sure to wear comfy shoes! There are lots of uneven paths and stairs, and trust me, you don’t want to trip on an old stone
