If you're planning to walk around the gardens, wear comfy shoes! I didn't and regretted it halfway through. The pathways can be uneven, so be prepared.

I recommend arriving around 10 AM. The castle gets busy later, and you can enjoy the peaceful morning vibes and take some amazing photos before the crowds show up.
