I think visiting the island and castle is a must, but I suggest timing your trip to the castle right before sunset. The views then are mindblowing and great for photos!
If you can, try to get a pitch closer to the lake. The views are absolutely stunning in the morning, and it's just a short walk to the beach!
My advice is to bring your own food and snacks. The camp store is a bit pricey, and you can save a lot by preparing simple meals outside.
