New

If you can, visit the Palatine Hill first. I did it the other way around, and all that walking on the hill exhausted me before the Coliseum. The views are amazing too!

Don't forget to bring water. I thought the cold drinks at the entrance would be enough, but they were super overpriced! A refillable water bottle is a lifesaver.

My advice is to download the App that offers the audio guide. I did it and it's way cheaper than hiring a guide. You’ll get all the info you need without breaking the bank.
