Bring a GoPro or waterproof camera. The underwater scenery is stunning, and you’ll want to capture those memories! I regretted not having mine.
Check the weather beforehand. If it’s not ideal for diving, use that day to explore Santa Cruz instead. I ended up having to change my plans last minute, which wasn’t fun.
Make sure to book your dives in advance, especially if you're going during peak season. I didn’t and ended up missing out on some great spots because they were fully booked.
