I think bringing your own snacks and water is a good idea. The dive trips can be long, and buying at the center can add up.
My advice is to book your diving sessions online in advance. I saved a good chunk of change by taking advantage of early bird discounts.
I suggest arriving early, around 9 AM, to beat the crowds and get a prime spot on the boat. We had some great visibility because we went out before lots of other divers.
