Wear sturdy shoes! Some parts of the trails can get muddy and slippery. I made the mistake of wearing sandals and regretted it—my feet were freezing by the end!

Check out the food trucks near the entrance; they offer delicious options at reasonable prices. I saved a lot compared to the sit-down restaurants I saw later on.
