My advice is to bring some snacks from home or the main island. The resort's prices for snacks can add up quickly, and having some treats handy saved me a bunch!

I recommend checking the weather before your trip. We had unexpected rain a few days, so having some indoor activities planned would have made our time feel less wasted.
