Try visiting on a weekday, especially around 2 PM. I found the museum was way less crowded then, and I could enjoy the exhibits without rushing.

Pack a light lunch or snacks. The cafe is decent, but a bit pricey for what you get. I think you can enjoy a picnic outside in the lovely gardens instead.

Don't miss the outdoor sculpture garden; it was one of the highlights of my visit! I almost skipped it, but taking a stroll there was a great way to unwind.
