Plan for some downtime between games. I didn't bring snacks and regretted it during the waiting periods. The onsite café is okay, but it's a bit pricey for a quick snack.
If you're a beginner, definitely go for the basic package. They rented me gear, and I saved money instead of bringing my old stuff. Plus, it was nice to use their well-maintained equipment.
I suggest you wear old clothes and sturdy shoes. I made the mistake of wearing sneakers, and mud was everywhere. Trust me, you don't want to ruin your favorite shoes!
