My advice is to book your spot well in advance, especially on weekends. I tried to go last minute, and everything was full. Save yourself some time and plan ahead!

I recommend checking the weather before you go. It can change fast, and my campsite turned soggy from rain. Bring a tarp to cover your gear just in case.

I suggest bringing your own food instead of relying on local shops. The prices can be higher than expected. I saved a lot by just packing a cooler with snacks and meals
