I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks to save some cash. The beachside vendors can be pricey, and having your own stash makes it easier to chill out longer.

My advice is to arrive by 8 AM if you can. The beach is stunningly calm in the morning, and you’ll have more space to set up your spot without the crowd.

If you plan to swim, check the tides beforehand. I didn’t and ended up caught in a rip current, which was a bit scary. Swimming is a lot better when you time it right.
