If you're new to diving, I'd suggest signing up for a discover scuba course. It’s a chill way to get your feet wet (literally) without feeling overwhelmed.
Check out the local dive shops beforehand; some have awesome combo deals if you're planning multiple dives. I saved a good chunk by booking in advance!
I think it’s worth it to bring your own gear if you can. Rentals add up and the quality can vary a lot; I regretted not bringing my own wetsuit!
