grab a map when you enter. the zoo isn’t super large, but some areas can be a bit tricky to find. i missed a couple of exhibits without the map, which was a bummer for me!
If you're looking to save some cash, buy your tickets online before you go. It’s usually a bit cheaper than at the gate. Plus, you can skip the ticket line and head straight into the zoo!
Make sure to check the feeding schedule for the animals ahead of time. I caught the penguin feeding at 2 PM and it was the highlight of my visit! Seeing them up close was seriously cool.
