I think eating at local spots is way better than touristy restaurants. I found a little BBQ joint that had the best ribs in town, and it was way cheaper than the fancy places!

If you're planning to stay a few days, I recommend getting a multi-day pass for the SUP rentals; it’s way cheaper in the long run than paying per day. I wish I’d figured that out sooner!
