I think bringing a water bottle is super important, especially in Bali's heat. You can refill it at the stables, and it saves you from buying overpriced drinks nearby.
If you’re looking to save some cash, I suggest booking the sunset ride. It's not only cheaper, but the views are absolutely breathtaking, trust me.
My advice is to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. I wore shorts once and regretted it - the saddles can rub against your legs!
