Definitely bring some snacks and drinks! The little stand nearby is pricey, and I found it hard to deal with the hunger while I was enjoying the sun. A cooler with some goodies saved my day!
I recommend exploring the trails behind Sun Bay; they’re beautiful and usually not crowded. I didn’t realize they were there until later, and I wished I had gone sooner!
Don’t forget to grab a beach umbrella or rent one. The sun can be really strong, and I got burned way faster than I expected. Shade really makes a difference.
