My advice is to bring snacks and water because food on the train can get pricey and you'll want to save some energy for all the amazing views from the windows!
If you're planning to take the train try to book your tickets at least a week in advance. I didn't and ended up with the last-minute higher prices. Trust me it's worth the peace of mind!
