Shanghai Science and Technology Museum
Check out the special exhibits, they're sometimes included in your ticket, and they can be so cool! I accidentally missed one that sounded amazing.
I recommend downloading a translation app, some displays could be hard to understand without English explanations. It made my experience way better!
Bring a packed lunch or snacks! The museum food is pretty pricey and not the best. I found a nice spot in the gardens to enjoy my lunch.
Shanghai Museum
Oriental Pearl
Buy your tickets online ahead of time to avoid long lines; it's a total game changer and saves you so much time. I wish I had done this!
Be ready for crowds, especially on weekends; if you can, visit on a weekday morning for a more relaxed experience.
If you're on a budget, consider skipping the elevator to the highest deck and instead enjoy the views from the lower observation areas; they're still pretty impressive!
The Shanghai Natural History Museum
Yu Garden
The China Art Museum
I suggest visiting on a weekday around 10 AM. It was way less crowded, and I got to enjoy the exhibits without rushing. Weekends tend to be packed, so you'll spend more time waiting in lines.
Power Station of Art
i recommend visiting during the week if you can, it gets super crowded on weekends. i went on a wednesday, and it was way more chill.
