If you can, try to catch a mass or service. I stumbled in on one, and it added a special vibe to my visit that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

Don't miss the view from the terrace! It’s stunning and you can see all of Lyon. I thought it was my favorite part of the visit, even more than the inside.

Check out the little shops close by for unique souvenirs. I found some great local crafts that were way cooler and cheaper than stuff inside the basilica

Get there early, around 9 AM, to beat the crowds. It was peaceful and photogenic before the tourists flooded in. Plus, the morning light is gorgeous for shots!
