Little Venice

I suggest visiting early in the morning, around 8 am, when the streets are quieter and you can truly appreciate the stunning architecture without the crowds.

I recommend bringing a refillable water bottle. There are lovely parks along the canals where you can relax and enjoy some views without spending money on drinks.

I suggest trying to catch a boat tour for a different perspective of Little Venice. It’s better to book it online ahead of time to avoid long queues.

Be mindful of local events or festivals during your visit. They can draw big crowds, but they also offer unique experiences if you're in the right place at the right time!
Unterlinden Museum

Don't miss the museum café! I found their pastries and coffee a perfect way to recharge after wandering the galleries. It’s a cozy spot to take a break.

If you're planning to explore more than one museum, consider getting the Museum Pass; it can save you some cash, especially if you plan to visit a few places in Colmar

I suggest downloading the audio guide on your phone before you go. It’s insightful and really enhances your experience without having to rent a guide or carry around a device.

Try to visit right when they open at 9 AM; the museum tends to get crowded later, and you’ll have a much more peaceful experience with the art.
Saint-Martin Collegiate Church

If you're short on time, make sure to check the main altar and stained glass windows first. I could've spent hours there, but I had to rush through

My advice is to bring a small snack for later; there's not much close by and I ended up hungry after touring the church!
I recommend visiting on weekdays, especially around 10 AM, to beat the weekend crowds. I went on a Saturday and it felt packed.
Colmar Toy Museum

My advice is to buy a combo ticket if you’re planning to visit other museums in Colmar. It saves some euros and lets you explore more without breaking the bank.

I think checking out the interactive exhibits is a must. They were super fun! Just make sure to give yourself enough time to try everything, rather than rushing through.
Maison Pfister

i really suggest visiting maison pfister in the morning around 9 am. it was much quieter then, and i could snap some great pics without a crowd! plus, it leaves your day open to explore more of colmar.
The Fishmonger District

I suggest choosing a weekday for your visit. The crowds can get crazy on weekends, and you’ll enjoy the stunning architecture and shops way more. Plus, you might get some sweet deals at local boutiques if you dig around a bit!
Tanners' Quarter

Make sure to visit in the morning around 9 AM when there are fewer tourists. I loved snapping photos of the canals without all the crowds blocking the view!

don't miss the little art shops hidden away in the side streets. i stumbled upon some unique souvenirs that aren't sold in the more touristy areas.

If you're looking to save a bit of cash try eating at one of the bakeries instead of the sit-down restaurants. Their pastries and sandwiches are delicious and much cheaper!
Bartholdi Museum
Dominican Church

I suggest visiting around 10 AM. It was way less crowded then, and I got to enjoy the beautiful architecture without feeling rushed.

My advice is to bring a small cash amount. Some vendors near the church had better deals on souvenirs if you paid cash instead of card.
Cathedral Square

Check out the bakery on Rue des Têtes before you go exploring! Grab a pastry for a tasty snack while you stroll. It's way cheaper than the sit-down places right in the square and super delicious.
