Le Vaisseau
My advice is to explore the outdoor area first when you arrive. It's less crowded in the morning, and you won't feel rushed to see everything.
If you're planning to take lots of pictures, try late afternoon when the sun isn't too harsh. The lighting is better, and the crowds start to thin out.
Modern and Contemporary Art Museum
If you don’t want to spend on the museum café, bring some snacks. I did, and it made my break in the sculpture garden way better!
I recommend getting the Strasbourg Pass if you plan to visit multiple attractions. It saved me a good chunk of money on entry fees, including the museum
Don’t skip the gift shop on your way out! They have unique art books and souvenirs that aren’t found anywhere else in the city.
I suggest checking out the temporary exhibitions online before you go. Some of them blew me away, and I would have missed them otherwise.
Historical Museum
Definitely grab an audio guide at the entrance if you want to get the most out of your visit. It’s super helpful and makes the exhibits way more engaging. Plus it’s included in the entry fee so no extra cost there!
Check out the museum shop before leaving. I found some cute souvenirs that were cheaper than what I found in other parts of Strasbourg. Just make sure to look around first; some stuff is a bit pricey.
Museum of the Work of Notre-Dame
I suggest arriving around 10 AM when the museum opens. It gets busy later in the day, and you'll have more space to explore the exhibits. Trust me, it's way more enjoyable without crowds!
