Museums in Paris:
Louvre
I suggest getting your tickets online beforehand to skip those monstrous lines. I waited over an hour and it killed my vibe!
Center Georges Pompidou
Grand Palais
Plan your visit around any temporary exhibitions. I stumbled upon a stunning art display that was totally worth the ticket price and it was a great surprise!
Army Museum
I’d recommend taking a moment at the Napoleon’s tomb – it’s not just for the photos, but knowing the history there really brings the whole museum to life.
If you can, grab a combined ticket for the museum and the nearby Invalides chapel. It's a bit cheaper compared to buying them separately, and both are worth your time.
Grevin Museum
Don't rush through the museum. Take your time with each wax figure; some of them have cool details and stories that are easy to miss if you're just snapping quick photos.
Palais Galliera, The City of Paris Fashion Museum
Rodin Museum
I found that weekdays are way less busy than weekends. If you can swing it, try to visit on a Tuesday or Wednesday for a more peaceful experience
I suggest exploring the gardens after the museum. They’re super nice, and there’s usually less foot traffic. Grab a snack from a nearby café and enjoy the views; it’s beautiful!
Ke Branly Museum
Orangerie Museum
Check out the small gift shop on your way out! I bought some lovely postcards and prints at decent prices - way better than those tourist traps.
If you can, try to catch a weekday visit instead of weekends. I found it so much quieter, and I was able to enjoy the art without feeling rushed.
Fondation Louis Vuitton
My advice is to take advantage of the free audio guide they offer. It provides some cool insights you might miss out on otherwise. Just remember to return it so you don’t get charged.
If you're planning to visit, I recommend buying your tickets online to skip the long lines at the entrance. Trust me, the wait can be a pain!
