Abbey of Mont Saint Michel

I think it’s worth the extra 10 euros for an audio guide. It added so much depth to the experience, and I learned a lot more than just wandering around!

If you want to save on parking, park at the FREE lots a bit farther away and take the shuttle bus (just a few euros). The bus ride was super quick and saved me money!

Definitely take the time to explore the small shops and eateries around the base of the abbey. I found some cute souvenirs there that were way cheaper than inside the Abbey!

Wear comfy shoes. The cobblestone paths are pretty and all, but my feet were killing me by the end. I saw a few tourists struggling with that, too.
Fortifications du Mont-Saint-Michel

I think exploring the fortifications is way more fun if you take your time. Don't rush! There's so much history in those walls. I spent hours just wandering, and it made the experience unforgettable.
I suggest getting there early, like around 9 AM, to beat the crowds. The views and the atmosphere are way better before the masses show up. Plus, you can snap some great photos without people blocking the shot

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks! The cafes inside can be pricey, and you'll probably want to recharge while enjoying the scenic views. Just pack a little picnic to save some cash.
Eglise Paroissiale Saint-Pierre

My advice is to bring a sweeping lens if you're into photography. The architecture is stunning, and you'll want to capture all the details without rushing during peak hours.

I suggest visiting the church early in the morning, around 9 AM, to avoid the crowds and have the place to yourself for some stunning photos. Trust me, it makes a huge difference!
