The Acropolis Museum

I recommend checking the museum's schedule for any special exhibits or events. I missed out on a cool temporary exhibit during my visit and I wish I’d known earlier!

If you're into photography, I suggest taking your pictures from the terrace bar. The view of the Acropolis is pretty epic! Just make sure to go before it gets too crowded.

Get there by 9 AM to beat the crowds! I arrived around that time, and it was much more enjoyable without the masses everywhere. You can soak in the exhibits in peace.

Looking to save a few euros? Grab a quick bite at the café inside instead of heading out to find food. Their prices are decent, and the food is actually tasty!
National Archaeological Museum
Нama

If you’re into interactive exhibits, be sure to ask about any special displays. I stumbled upon a workshop happening and it was a cool bonus!

Definitely check the opening hours before you go – I almost missed it because they close early on certain days. Aim for around 4 PM when it's usually less crowded.

Look for any combo tickets if you plan to visit more than one museum in the area – saves you a few Euros and it's handy for hopping around!
Benaki Museum

One thing I suggest is grabbing a coffee at the café before you start. It's a nice spot to unwind and also less busy in the mornings. I regretted not doing that at the start!

I recommend visiting on a Wednesday. It's less crowded, and the ticket price is reduced! Trust me, it makes for a much more enjoyable experience without all the people
War Museum

For souvenirs, skip the pricey gift shop and head to a local market nearby. You can find cool War Museum-themed stuff for much less!

I suggest visiting on a weekday around 3 PM to avoid the weekend crowds. You'll have way more time to really check out the exhibits without feeling rushed.
Museum of Cycladic Experiences

I suggest downloading the museum's app before your visit. It has a ton of info about the pieces, which made my experience way more enriching. Plus, it saved me time wandering aimlessly!
