Rail Museum
I recommend spending time at the toy train exhibit... It's such a fun spot, and I almost missed it thinking it was for kids only!
I think bringing your own snacks can save you some money. The food options aren’t the cheapest, and packing a few treats can keep you energized while you explore!
National Museum
The Indian Air Force Museum
Bring some snacks and water! There aren’t many food options nearby, and you might get hungry wandering around the exhibits.
The Sulabh International Museum of Toilets
I recommend taking a friend with you, as some of the info can be quite amusing and you’ll want someone to share the laughs with!
My advice is to bring a camera; the museum is colorful and unique. I wish I had taken more pics to remember this quirky adventure.
Make sure to check the entrance fee before you go; I thought it was a bit confusing on their website, but it's pretty cheap! I paid only 200 rupees.
Gandhi Smriti
I recommend wearing comfortable shoes since there’s a lot of walking involved. I opted for flip flops and regretted it halfway through – some paths can be uneven!
I found the entry fee to be super reasonable, but make sure to carry cash as not all stalls accept cards. I had to hunt for an ATM when I wanted some snacks!
I suggest visiting in the early morning, around 9 AM, to avoid the crowds and soak in the serene atmosphere. Trust me, it's way more peaceful then!
Shankar's International Dolls Museum
Arrive right when it opens at 10 AM to avoid the crowds and really take your time looking at the dolls without feeling rushed. It makes a huge difference!
Take a moment to chat with the staff; they have some great stories about the dolls that add a fun layer to your visit and help you appreciate them more.
