Guinness Beer Museum
Make sure you try the Guinness Chocolate Mousse at the Gravity Bar. It’s a bit pricey, but totally worth it! I regret not getting it sooner because it was a sweet end to my visit
Dublin Castle
National Museum of Ireland – Archaeology
Make sure to check out the Bog Bodies – they were my fav part. These exhibits are super well done and unique. Try to be there right when it opens at 10 AM to avoid the crowds and get the best view.
If you're on a budget, lunch in the cafe can be a bit pricey. Grab something from a nearby supermarket instead and have a picnic in Merrion Square Park after your visit. Trust me, it'll save you a few bucks.
I recommend downloading the museum's audio guide app before you go. It’s super handy and covers a lot of info that you won’t get from just looking at the exhibits. It’s easy to navigate and made my visit much more enriching!
Halfpenny Bridge
I suggest visiting early in the morning around 8 AM to avoid the crowds. It feels much more peaceful and you can snap some great pics without people blocking the view.
My tip is to wear comfortable shoes. You’ll likely end up walking around the area a lot more than you expect, so you don't want to be sore!
My advice is to take a turn off from the crowds and explore the little streets nearby. There are tons of charming little shops and cafes to check out
EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum
Try to visit on a weekday, especially in the morning. It was so much quieter, and I really soaked in all the exhibits without feeling rushed.
If you can, book your tickets online. I saved a few bucks this way, plus it meant I could skip the line when I got there!
Don’t miss the interactive experiences! They’re super engaging and give a cool twist to learning about history, making it more fun than just reading displays.
The Museum of Irish Whiskey
National Museum of Ireland – Natural History
My advice is to check out the gift shop for unique souvenirs. I almost forgot about it, but I found some cool stuff that you won't see everywhere.
I recommend starting on the top floor and making your way down. That way you can avoid backtracking and really flow through the exhibits.
I suggest going on a weekday if you can. It was way less crowded when I went on a Tuesday, and I got to enjoy the exhibits without feeling rushed.
National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Arts and History
Old Jameson Whiskey Factory
If you can, go around 2 PM on weekdays to avoid the big crowds. I did, and it made everything so much easier to enjoy the tour without rushing.
