Vigeland Sculpture Park
My advice is to keep an eye out for the less popular sculptures. Some of them have unique stories that can make your visit even more interesting. I found a few hidden gems with cool backgrounds!
Wear comfy shoes. You’ll be walking a lot more than you expect and the paths can be uneven. Trust me, your feet will thank you later.
I recommend hitting the park early around 9 AM. It’s way less crowded, so you can snap those perfect shots and enjoy the sculptures without people blocking your view
Consider downloading an app or printing a map before you go. The park is big and it’s easy to end up walking in circles if you're not sure where you’re headed.
Botanical Garden
Huk
If you're keen on snagging a spot on the beach, get there by 10 AM on weekends. It gets super packed after that!
I found that bringing my own food and drinks saved a bunch of cash, since the nearby cafes can be pricey.
Sognswann
Palace Park
My advice is to bring a camera. The gardens are gorgeous, especially in spring. I missed some great shots because I was too busy just walking around. Plan to explore and take your time.
Oslo Reptile Park
Sofienberg Park
I suggest visiting Sofienberg Park on a weekday morning. The park is quieter, and you can really soak in the scenery without the weekend crowd. Plus, you'll snag the best spots for photos!
