Check out the local eateries around the plaza for super affordable meals. I found some amazing ceviche and it was way cheaper than the touristy spots nearby. Save some cash while enjoying local flavors!

Take a stroll to the nearby artisan markets after visiting the plaza. I wish I had done this sooner; it's a great way to support local artists and find unique souvenirs. Remember to bargain a little!

i recommend checking out the trails around 9 am. you'll beat the midday heat and get a chance to see wildlife while it's still active. plus, it’s a lot less crowded early on!
