Kleopatra Beach
I think bringing your own beach towel can save you money. Renting one can cost around 10 lira, and they’re not always clean.
If you plan to rent gear for water sports, do it early in the day. The equipment often runs out by the afternoon, especially on weekends.
For a budget-friendly day, pack your own drinks and snacks. There are plenty of spots to relax and you won’t be stuck paying over the top prices at the beach stalls
I suggest finding a spot early in the morning, around 8 am, to snag a good sunbed. By noon, it gets really crowded and you might end up sitting way back behind the umbrellas.
Damlatash Cave
Don't forget to look up! The rock formations are stunning, and I almost missed a couple of the best views because I was too focused on the ground.
The entry fee is pretty reasonable, but bring cash as card payments weren't accepted when I visited. Just a heads up so you’re not caught off guard!
Bring a light jacket or sweater, as the cave can get surprisingly cool. I was a bit chilly during my visit, and I wish I had prepared for that
Dim Cave
Sapadere Canyon
Bring some snacks and water! There are a few cafes, but they can be a bit pricey and the food isn’t anything special. Pack a picnic and enjoy it by the water
Don’t miss the hidden waterfalls! Some folks ignored them thinking they were just the main attractions, but trust me, they’re worth the tiny detour.
Dimchay
My advice is to arrive around 9 AM. The place gets crowded later on, and you really want that peaceful morning vibe before all the tourists show up.
Alanya Municipality 100th Year Ataturk Park
If you're planning to take photos, visit around sunset. The lighting is stunning, and the crowds thin out, which makes for a peaceful experience. I wish I had aimed for that time!
Head towards the back of the park to find some quieter spots. I stumbled upon a lovely hidden garden area that wasn't crowded, perfect for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle.
Kargicak Beach
I recomend getting to the beach around 9 AM. It was less crowded then, and we could snag the best spots. Later in the day, it filled up fast.
Damlatas Beach
My advice is to check out small local restaurants instead of the beachside tourist traps for lunch. We saved a lot and had way better food!
