Ponderosa Stables
Check the weather before you go! I was not prepared for the heat and ended up wishing I had brought more water and a hat. It gets super hot out there!
My advice is to book your ride in advance. I thought I could walk in, but they were super busy. I ended up waiting almost an hour for a spot
I think you should arrive at least 30 minutes early to fill out any waivers and get familiar with the horses. Starting the experience rushed isn’t fun at all!
Chase Field
I suggest checking for any special promotions on tickets. Sometimes they have discounts on specific game nights, which really helps save some cash.
Make sure to explore the upper deck areas of the stadium for some cool views of the game. The seats up there aren't as bad as you'd think, and it's a fun vibe.
Grab your food outside the park before heading in. The food choices inside are pricey, and you can find some great spots nearby for a bite that won't break the bank.
Talking Stick Resort Arena
My advice is to catch the light rail if you can! Parking can be a hassle and super expensive, so the train from downtown is a total game changer.
Castles N' Coasters
Don't forget about the water rides! Even if it's not super hot out, they are a blast and can cool you off. Bring a change of clothes just in case!
Pack your own snacks and drinks. The food prices inside can be pretty high, so bringing some goodies saves cash and keeps you energized while exploring.
check out the park’s schedule for any special events or promotions. i stumbled upon a discounted ticket day and saved a ton, so it’s worth a look before you go
Get there right when it opens at 10 AM! It's way less crowded and you can hit the popular rides like the roller coasters without the long wait times.
Pecos Skatepark
If you've got your own gear, definitely bring it! Rentals can be pricey and the selection is sometimes limited. I found it way more enjoyable to skate on my own board.
I suggest hitting the park on a weekday morning, like around 9 AM. It's less crowded then, and you get more room to practice your tricks without dodging people.
Enchanted Island Amusement Park
I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks. They don’t let you bring them in, but they do have some shaded picnic areas outside where you can enjoy a break without spending a ton on overpriced food inside. Saves you some serious cash!
