Ponderosa Stables

Check the weather before you go! I was not prepared for the heat and ended up wishing I had brought more water and a hat. It gets super hot out there!

My advice is to book your ride in advance. I thought I could walk in, but they were super busy. I ended up waiting almost an hour for a spot

I think you should arrive at least 30 minutes early to fill out any waivers and get familiar with the horses. Starting the experience rushed isn’t fun at all!
Chase Field

Don't forget sunscreen, even if it's evening! The sun can be super strong even at dusk, and you don’t want to leave with a burn after a great game

If you can, stay until the end. The atmosphere during the last inning can be electric, plus you’ll catch the post-game entertainment which is sometimes pretty awesome!

I suggest checking for any special promotions on tickets. Sometimes they have discounts on specific game nights, which really helps save some cash.

Make sure to explore the upper deck areas of the stadium for some cool views of the game. The seats up there aren't as bad as you'd think, and it's a fun vibe.
Talking Stick Resort Arena
Make sure to check out the vendors inside the arena for snacks, but I would recommend skipping the pricey drinks. You can save a ton by bringing a reusable water bottle!

My advice is to catch the light rail if you can! Parking can be a hassle and super expensive, so the train from downtown is a total game changer.
Castles N' Coasters

Take advantage of the season passes if you plan to visit more than once. They might seem pricey upfront, but the savings on admission add up quickly!

Don't forget about the water rides! Even if it's not super hot out, they are a blast and can cool you off. Bring a change of clothes just in case!

Pack your own snacks and drinks. The food prices inside can be pretty high, so bringing some goodies saves cash and keeps you energized while exploring.

check out the park’s schedule for any special events or promotions. i stumbled upon a discounted ticket day and saved a ton, so it’s worth a look before you go
Pecos Skatepark

My advice is to check the weather beforehand. It can get super hot, so bring lots of water. I learned the hard way and ended up more tired than I expected.
If you've got your own gear, definitely bring it! Rentals can be pricey and the selection is sometimes limited. I found it way more enjoyable to skate on my own board.

I suggest hitting the park on a weekday morning, like around 9 AM. It's less crowded then, and you get more room to practice your tricks without dodging people.
Enchanted Island Amusement Park

My advice is to get to the park right when it opens at 10 AM... We had a blast riding attractions with little to no wait, but by noon, the lines got super long... Definitely make the most of those early hours!

I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks. They don’t let you bring them in, but they do have some shaded picnic areas outside where you can enjoy a break without spending a ton on overpriced food inside. Saves you some serious cash!
