Musical Instrument Museum
Try to visit on a weekday if you can. It was so much quieter and I really enjoyed the exhibits without the crowds.
If you're short on time, focus on the highlights like the 'Instruments from Around the World' gallery. Trust me, it’s packed with cool stuff!
Get the audio guide! It really enhances the experience and gives you more info about the instruments. I thought it was worth the extra few bucks.
Children’s Museum of Phoenix
Heard Museum
I recommend getting there right when it opens at 10 AM. It was super quiet then, and I could really enjoy the exhibits without the crowd getting in the way.
Wear comfy shoes! I didn’t think I’d walk so much, but those exhibits are spread out. A bit of planning could've saved my feet from aching so much.
if you’re planning to eat at the cafe my advice is to check the menu online first. i found that they had some cool affordable options but i wish i’d seen it beforehand!
The Rosson House
Arizona State Capitol
I think you should spend some time exploring the grounds. The outdoor sculptures and landscaping are beautiful and often overlooked by visitors rushing inside.
Mystery Castle
I suggest checking their website for any special events before you go – the day I visited, they had a cool themed night that I totally missed out on.
My advice is to go on a weekday around 2 PM. It was much less crowded then, and I could explore the place without rushing.
