Top Beaches in San Francisco

If you want some amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge for photos, walk all the way to the northern end of the beach. I thought I’d find a good spot just anywhere, but that one took the cake!

Check the tide schedule before you go. I learned it the hard way – part of the beach was closed off when I got there. You don’t want to miss out on exploring the whole area!

You might want to explore the beach towards the south end. Less crowded and you can find some hidden spots for a nice chill time. I wish I had known this earlier!

My advice is to grab some takeout from a nearby café and picnic on the beach. It’s way more affordable than dining out, and you'll enjoy the view while you eat!

I suggest bringing layers, because the weather can change super quickly. It was sunny when I arrived, but the fog rolled in, and I was freezing! My hoodie saved the day.
