Denver Skatepark
Don’t forget sunscreen! Even if it’s a bit cloudy I ended up getting sunburnt just from hanging out. A hat would be a great idea too!
Denver Skate Park
Make sure to bring some snacks and water. The park doesn't have many food options nearby, and trust me, you don't wanna spend extra cash for a soda
Coorse Field
I think sitting in the outfield seats is the way to go. You get a great view of the game and a chance to catch a foul ball! It was a blast when I almost got one, haha.
Ball Arena
I suggest parking in the lots a bit further away; they’re not that far and can be way cheaper than the super close ones. Plus, walking can be a good warm-up!
Try to bring a light jacket, the arena can get chilly, especially if you’re sitting up high. I was freezing during the game! A small blanket is a good idea too.
Zanzibar Billiards Club
Candlelight Tavern
Keep an eye on the bar tab. They sometimes run fun promotions that aren’t advertised. I found out about a buy-one-get-one drink deal while chatting with the bartender, which was a nice bonus!
I recommend checking out their happy hour specials. I saved a good amount on drinks from 4 to 6 PM. The atmosphere is lively and it’s a great time to relax before the weekend crowd rolls in.
The Monkey Bar
I think the food menu could use some more variety, so maybe grab a bite before you go. Their nachos were decent but nothing to write home about. Just saying!
Elitch Gardens
I suggest bringing your own snacks if you can – food prices inside can be pretty steep, and the quality isn’t always worth it. A little pre-planning helps!
Lakeside Amusement Park
My advice is to grab a meal at one of the food stands rather than the sit-down places. It saves you money and you can spend more time enjoying the rides!
I suggest hitting the park right at 11 AM when it opens. You’ll beat the crowds and can jump on the rides without long waits.
I think you should look for discount tickets online before you go. I saved a few bucks and it really added up for the whole family!
