I suggest booking your rental bike in advance especially during weekends. I didn't and it was a bit hectic trying to find availability last minute. Plus you'll save some cash with early bird discounts!

I recommend bringing your own gear if you have it. The rental prices for helmets and jackets can add up, and my own stuff was way more comfortable.
