My advice is to bring snacks or a light picnic. Food vendors can be pricey, and a simple meal with a view of the fires can be way more enjoyable!

I suggest arriving around 6 PM. You'll beat the crowds and get a great spot to see everything before it gets dark! The atmosphere is so much better when the lights start to shine.
