Top Gun Range

I think you should listen to the safety briefings carefully. I didn't pay attention and ended up having a few minor mishaps loading my gun, which was a little embarrassing!

My advice is to check for any specials or discounts online before booking. I saved a few bucks that way, which I was super happy about.
Speedy's Fast Track

Try to visit on a weekday afternoon if you can. It was way less crowded, and I got more track time without waiting around.

i suggest wearing comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes, you might be tempted to zip around as much as possible, and you don’t want to feel restricted.

Check out their special events or promotions online before you go. I didn’t, and I missed out on some cool discounts and themed nights.
Minute Maid Park

Use public transport or ride-sharing to get there if possible. Parking is a pain and can be pricey. You'll thank yourself for skipping the stress!

Arrive at least 1.5 hours early! This gives you time to explore the park, grab some food, and really soak in the vibe before the game starts. Plus, the lines can get long.

If you want to save cash on food, consider grabbing a bite at nearby spots before the game. The food inside is good, but it can drain your wallet quickly!
Go Kart Raceway

I recommend checking out any special deals they have, especially for groups or on weekdays. I saved a few bucks this way when I went with friends!

I suggest booking your race ahead of time online to avoid the long lines. I didn't, and ended up waiting for over an hour on a busy Saturday.
Spring Skatepark

I totally recommend renting a board if you’re not bringing your own. Super affordable and it saved me from lugging mine around.

Don’t forget to wear a helmet! I saw a few people get some gnarly falls, and it’s just a good idea to stay safe while having fun.

Check out their events calendar before you go. I missed a fun competition that would have been awesome to see, so don't make that mistake!

I suggest hitting up Spring Skatepark early, like around 9 AM. It gets pretty crowded later, and I had more space to ride without dodging other skaters.
Kema Boardwalk

Check the ride schedule before you plan your day. Some of the most popular rides might be closed, so you might want to have a backup plan in case your faves aren’t running.

I highly recommend eating at Bubba Gump Shrimp. The food is delicious and service is top-notch, making it a great spot to recharge after a day of fun.

Bring a stroller if you're with little ones... Be prepared for some stairs if elevators are out of order, but it's handy for keeping tired kiddos comfortable while you explore

Definitely consider coming on a weekday or during off-peak hours, like right when it opens around 10 AM, to avoid long lines for rides and restaurants. It’ll make your experience a lot smoother!
NRG Stadium

I suggest checking out the parking options before you go. Parking fills up FAST! I parked off-site and took a shuttle, which saved me time and hassle. Plus, way cheaper!

Honestly, I thought the prices for gear inside were nuts. I recommend hitting up a nearby store before the game to snag some team swag for way less.

I think taking public transport is the best move. The stadium is easily accessible, and you'll skip that parking nightmare. I rode the Metro and it was super convenient!
Bogies Billiards East

I recommend checking their happy hour specials; they have awesome deals on drinks and games from 4-7 PM. It saved me a bunch of cash!

I think getting there around 8 PM is a great idea. It was lively with a good crowd, but not too packed to find a table.
Bogies Billiards West

I suggest trying their signature cocktails; they were super refreshing! Just be mindful of the prices since some can be a bit on the higher end.

I think it’s best to book a table in advance, especially on weekends. We had to wait a while, and I wish I had planned better

My advice is to bring cash, as not all the tables accept card payments. I ended up having to leave my game to find an ATM!

I recommend checking out their happy hour specials; I found some great deals on drinks and food between 4-7 PM. Definitely saves you some cash!
Houston Raceway Park

Be ready for the weather. I thought I could just rely on the forecast, but it ended up being hotter than predicted. A portable fan and a big bottle of water saved my day.

If you're planning to grab food at the track, I suggest bringing some snacks. The food lines can get super long, and prices are a bit steep. My nachos cost more than I'd expected!

Check the racing schedule ahead of time. I thought I could just show up and catch everything, but missed a few races. Arriving around 5 PM ensured I saw the best events!

i recommend wearing comfortable shoes. you'll be doing a lot of walking around the track and stands, and trust me, flip-flops aren’t the way to go if you want to enjoy the whole day.
