Architecture in Salt Lake City:
Salt Lake Temple
If you're looking to save some cash, pack a picnic lunch! The gardens around the Temple are beautiful and perfect for a relaxing break.
I regretted not wearing comfy shoes. The grounds are larger than they seem, so wear something that'll keep you happy on your feet!
Make sure to visit the visitor center right next to the Temple. They have interesting exhibits and you can grab free maps. It's a great start to your visit!
Utah State Capitol
Cathedral of St. Mary Magdalene
My advice is to wear comfy shoes! The stone floors can be a bit harsh on the feet if you’re wandering around for too long.
I recommend visiting early around 9 AM to avoid the crowds and soak in the beauty all by yourself. It’s super peaceful then.
Fear Factory
My advice is to grab tickets online to save a few bucks. I found a coupon code that helped me out, but I'd also recommend checking for package deals if you want a longer experience
Nightmare on 13th
Plan to spend at least two hours there. It's massive and if you want to take some cool pics and soak it all in, don't rush through!
i recommend visiting on a friday or saturday night if you want the full spooky experience, but be ready for long lines! weekdays are less crowded and you can enjoy the scares without as much wait time.
Check their social media for discount tickets or special promotions. I saved a few bucks that way. Plus, sometimes they have themed nights that are super fun.
Pyramid of Modern Mummification
I think it would help to check the entrances beforehand. I found it a bit confusing which gate to use but once I figured it out everyone there was super chill and friendly!
