American Family Field

I suggest getting to the stadium at least an hour before the game. This way, you can soak in the atmosphere, grab some food, and find your seat without rush

Don’t buy food inside the stadium until you’ve checked out the local spots nearby. I found a great BBQ joint a few blocks away that’s much cheaper and delicious.

My advice is to bring a refillable water bottle. They have stations to fill up, and it saves you from spending $5 on a bottle inside!

If you want to save on souvenirs, check out the Team Store during the non-game hours. I snagged some great Merch without the huge game-day markups!
Harley-Davidson Museum

If you can, visit on a weekday, especially Tuesday or Wednesday. It was way less crowded, and I got to explore the exhibits at my own pace. Plus, more chances to take cool photos!

Make sure to grab a bite at the on-site café, but don't go at peak lunch hours. I waited a bit too long and missed some exhibit time. A snack on the go could work better!

i recommend checking out the museum store before you leave. they had some exclusive merch that made for great souvenirs. i almost missed that section.

If you're into the history part take your time reading the exhibits on the wall. I kinda rushed through but later wished I spent more time soaking in the stories behind the bikes!
Milwaukee Public Market

Don’t skip the tasting samples! Many stall owners offer free samples, and it's a great way to try out stuff before you buy. I discovered my new favorite cheese this way.

Try to pace yourself and share dishes if you can. There’s so much delicious food to try, and portion sizes can be big. Sharing allows you to sample more without overdoing it.

Bring cash for small purchases... A few vendors only take cash, and you might snag a better deal if you have it on hand

I recommend going on a weekday if you can. It gets really crowded on weekends, especially during lunch, and you'll have a harder time exploring the stalls
Milwaukee Art Museum

i recommend checking out the museum’s website for free admission days; i totally saved some bucks that way. plus, the place gets pretty packed, so going during those times is a win-win!

I think the café has great snacks, but the pricing can be a bit steep. If you're trying to save money, maybe pack a light lunch and eat at one of the tables outside to enjoy the view!

Plan your visit around the outdoor plaza! The architecture and views from there are stunning, especially in the late afternoon. I accidentally rushed through and missed those perfect sunset shots

Don’t forget to check out the gift shop before leaving! I found some cool local art prints that were reasonably priced. I think it’s a great way to take home a piece of Milwaukee!
Milwaukee Public Museum

I recommend checking their schedule for any special events. I stumbled upon a cool live animal presentation that I almost missed! So keep an eye out when you're there.
I suggest getting the combo tickets for the museum and the butterfly exhibit. It’s a little pricier, but totally worth it if you love butterflies! I loved it, but I wish I’d done it first to make the most of it.

My advice is to allocate at least 3-4 hours if you want to see everything - I thought I’d be in and out in 2 hours, but I ended up rushing through some exhibits.
Discovery World

I suggest visiting right when they open at 9 AM to beat the crowds and get the best experience with exhibits like the submarine and the hologram room. It's really worth it!

Take your time exploring the interactive exhibits, but I recommend not missing the boat-building area. It was so much fun! Just be prepared to get a little wet, just in case.
American Family Insurance Amphitheater

I think arriving early, like around 5 PM for shows that start at 7 PM, really helped me find good parking and beat the rush. It was way less stressful!

I suggest downloading the venue's app if they have one. It really helped me navigate and find restrooms without missing any performances.

My advice is to bring a light jacket or sweater. Even in summer, it can get pretty chilly once the sun goes down and the music gets loud!
Basilica of Saint Josaphat

I recommend going on a weekday rather than the weekend to avoid crowds. I visited on a Tuesday morning and had the place almost to myself!

don't miss the stunning mosaics inside! i suggest spending at least 30 minutes just taking in the intricate details, even if you think you've seen it all before.
Black Cat Alley

I suggest visiting on a weekday morning if you can; it's way less crowded and you can snap some awesome photos without tons of people in the way. Plus, the art feels a bit more personal!

Don’t forget your phone charger! You'll want to take loads of pictures, but I ran out of battery too soon. Coffee shops nearby can be pricey, so maybe grab a snack from a local market to save some cash.
St. Joan of Arc Chapel

When you're there, take a moment to check out the beautiful stained glass windows. I think it’s best to spend some time just sitting in the chapel. It's so tranquil and definitely worth it!

I really enjoyed visiting the chapel, but I recommend going on a weekday, especially around 10 AM. It was much less crowded then – I got to really soak in the peaceful vibe without the rush.

If you're driving, my advice is to park at the nearby university lot instead of trying to find street parking. It saves you time, and it's a short walk to the chapel!
