Great Lakes Distillery & Tasting Room

Don't skip the tour! It’s super informative and adds to the tasting experience. Plus, you can sneak in some extra samples at the end if you’re nice to the guide!

I suggest booking a tasting session in advance; it can get really crowded especially on weekends. I went on a Saturday and had to wait nearly 30 minutes to get a spot!

Try to arrive right at 4 PM when they open for tastings. You’ll have the place almost to yourself for at least an hour, and it’s way easier to chat with the staff about the spirits

Ask about the cocktail flights! They have great pairings that you won’t find on the menu. It’s a fun way to explore different flavors without spending too much.
Lakefront Brewery

Check out the beer hall around 4 PM to beat the crowd! It gets really busy later, and you’ll get a better spot to enjoy your drinks and the vibe.

Don’t forget to grab some merch at the end! I regret not picking up a shirt or a glass after tasting some awesome brews – they make great souvenirs.
If you’re into a specific type of beer, ask the staff for recommendations! They’re super knowledgeable and can help you find your new favorite!
Milwaukee Public Market

Don’t skip the tasting samples! Many stall owners offer free samples, and it's a great way to try out stuff before you buy. I discovered my new favorite cheese this way.

Try to pace yourself and share dishes if you can. There’s so much delicious food to try, and portion sizes can be big. Sharing allows you to sample more without overdoing it.

Bring cash for small purchases... A few vendors only take cash, and you might snag a better deal if you have it on hand

I recommend going on a weekday if you can. It gets really crowded on weekends, especially during lunch, and you'll have a harder time exploring the stalls
Historic Pabst Brewery
I recommend checking out the tasting room as soon as you arrive; they have limited hours, and trying those local brews is a must!

my advice is to book the brewery tour online to save time in line, and you might get a discount if you sign up ahead!
Sprecher Brewing Co.

My advice is to check out the tasting room during weekdays, especially around 3 PM. It was less crowded then, and we got to chat with the staff more! Plus, it's a great way to sample different brews without feeling rushed.
