South Coast Park

I think you should explore the walking trails, but download a map first. I got a bit lost and missed some beautiful spots.

My advice is to check the weather before you go. I went on a cloudy day, and it wasn't super enjoyable. A sunny day really makes the beach pop!
Noosa Main Beach

I suggest bringing your own beach umbrella. Renting one can be pricey, and I regretted not having more shade when the sun was blazing.
Four Mile Beach

I think the best views are from the southern end of the beach. I spent some time there just soaking it all in, and it was totally worth it!

I recommend visiting Four Mile Beach early in the morning around 7 AM... The sunrise is stunning and it’s much less crowded, giving you a peaceful vibe

If you're into beach activities, look for rental gear at nearby shops. I found it way cheaper than expected, and it’s more convenient than bringing everything with you.
The Strand

I recommend visiting The Strand during sunset. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and it's less crowded than during the day, so you can really soak it all in
Check out the local food trucks for a budget-friendly meal. They usually have amazing options, and it's way cheaper than the sit-down restaurants.

My advice is to rent a bike to cruise along the promenade. It’s a fun way to explore, and it saves time compared to just walking around. Plus, you can cover more ground!

If you're planning to swim, make sure to bring reef shoes... The sand can get a bit hot, and there are some rocky areas that can be a bit uncomfortable without them
Shelly Beach

Check the tide times before you go! I got caught in the water when the tide came in unexpectedly, which was a bit of a shock. Planning ahead could save you some chilly surprises.

If you're into snorkeling, bring your own gear! Renting can be expensive, and honestly, the underwater life is too beautiful to miss. Don't forget to look closer!
Burleigh Head National Park
Wear comfy shoes if you plan on hiking the trails. I wore flip-flops and regretted it halfway up. My advice is to pick sturdy sneakers for a better experience.
Burleigh Heads Beach

Check the surf conditions before you go in. I got caught in some strong currents, and it wasn’t fun. Look for the flags – they really help!

I recommend arriving at Burleigh Heads by about 8 AM if you want to snag a good parking spot. It gets pretty crowded, and trust me, parking can be a real pain later in the day!

Don’t miss the Burleigh Heads National Park. The trails are amazing, but wear good shoes. I thought I could make it in flip-flops, and I regretted that decision halfway through!
Bondi Beach

Check the surf conditions before you head out. Sometimes it looks calm but can be choppy later in the day, especially around noon.

If you’re thinking about surfing, consider taking a lesson with one of the local schools around 9 AM. They provide boards, and you'll be hitting the waves in no time!

Don’t forget to wear plenty of sunscreen, even on cloudy days. I learned that the hard way after getting sunburned during my visit!

Bring your own snacks and drinks to save some cash. Food at the beach can be pricey, and you’ll want to enjoy lunch without breaking the bank.
Wattamolla Beach
Snapper Rocks

If you're planning to surf, try to get there by 6 AM. The waves are best in the morning, and you’ll beat the crowds. It's so worth it!

Bring your own snacks and drinks, because the nearby cafes can be pretty pricey. I ended up spending way too much on a sandwich!

If you're not a surfer, don’t just watch – take a lesson! I thought it would be awkward, but the instructors are super chill and you'll have a blast.

I recommend exploring the rock pools at low tide. It's a fun way to spend some time and look at all the little sea creatures!
